   Would give 3.5 stars if I could. For Kauai, where there really is no fine dining, the food is above average. While our server was 5-star, service was super slow. We enjoy a relaxed, leisurely dining experience, so it’s remarkable for us to mention slow service. The acoustics are truly awful. The curved wall of windows on one side of the restaurant cause the sound to bounce throughout, making it nearly impossible to converse comfortably. We heard other diners complain about the noise, so it wasn’t just us. It would be so easy for the restaurant to add baffling or other sound reduction measure. Not sure if we’ll return if such a change isn’t made.

   Expensive but very good restaurant. The sushi roll was very good. The burger with lobster $60 but excellent. The ahi steak was very well prepared. Overall we had a great diner with a nice atmosphere.

   Food was spectacular here. The hamachi was amazing. The ahi tuna had hints of wasabi that ever so slightly tickled your tastebuds. It’s a splurge coming here !

   First, let me say the service was very good. Our server, Shanna, was warm, professional, and kind. The ocean view was lovely. As for the food, the sushi was good, the Lobster Gnocchi was quite good. The Mahi Mahi was terrible. There's really no other way to describe it. I was honest about my entree, and they did offer another entree and even dessert, which I declined because I'd lost my appetite. They very graciously comped the unfortunate part of our meal.

   Experience from seating through dining was outstanding. The menu was diverse enough to please all eaters and our selections were prepared well. We will be returning to try more.
