Alpine Restaurants

Texas is cattle country, and the city of Alpine, which is located in the panhandle, has some great steak and barbecue restaurants. Most steak restaurants feature a variety of cuts like New York strip, prime rib, and T-bones along with farm-fresh veggies and mashed potatoes. Tex-Mex is also a popular cuisine here; most of these spots serve up favorites like burritos, tamales, and enchiladas. There are also a number of bistro-style restaurants with cuisines that range from Japanese and Chinese to Italian.
