Very nice evening at Essence the staff were very lovely, the setting was beautiful, we had the tasting menu the food was very good, the only area we felt was a shame was the base layer in the sauces with each meal was the same notes in spice etc it would have been nice to have had different tastes throughout the menu but was still very good. Great place ,Tom is a great host made us feel special,.Food was to perfection. Good place for a special date as it was our wedding anniversary. Great experience all round, cannot fault it

As always we all had a great meal, the Staff and Owners Are friendly, kind, excellent service. All our family have been coming for years so we know the Star and Eagle well. Love it there thank you Sara
