Westgate-On-Sea Restaurants

Delicious meal tonight! Food, setting , ambience all fabulous, such a gem of a restaurant! The vol-u-vent needs its own mention, so tasty!!

My friend and I very much enjoyed our lunch. The food was hit and tasty as was the coffees. Reasonably priced with outstanding views over the bay. Polite and attentive staff nothing was too much trouble. Could have been a little warmer, was no means cold, but a a little more warmth wouldn't have been amiss.

A really great first visit to the George and Heart - a welcoming, quirky and chilled pub with a great relaxed atmosphere, cool tiki hut style electric style and great food and drinks. Lovely service and overall a great evening - we were visiting Margate for our anniversary and staying locally but the pub has rooms too and from the look of them online we’d definitely consider staying here next time.

Go - if you're in the area, go. If you're not in the area, plan a reason to be in the area and then go. Very good food coupled with pleasant service makes this an experience I would highly recommend
