He made sure we had everything we needed and anticipated our needs which is always appreciated! He timed our food perfectly for app to salad to main course and dessert. The food itself was fresh and so delicious. Again, the service was unmatched and TJ crushed it! - DDavidPhoenix / Arizona •7 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoMy wife and I are regulars but this evening we brought two newbies who are both world-travelled epicureans and wine snobs. Sat outside looking at the golf course and it was a chilly Sat night so the heaters were very handy. Server was great: attentive and informed and not always on top of us. Our friends ordered a decent bottle of wine to share with - not my expertise but it was good. We shared the Calamari, which has a really great lemony zest to it. I ordered the salmon dinner, which was perfect as usual. I started with a cup of the corn chowder and convinced husband friend to do the same. He loved the chowder and ordered the sand dabs on my wife's suggestion. He loved that too! His wife ordered the social which was a surf and turf and she was very happy. Wifey ordered her favorite salad with chicken added and it was all great. Overall another great experience. Thank you Chef Chris and everyone at Tonto :)More infoTonto Bar & Grill (Lunch reservations not required, excluding holidays)Price: Moderate• American• Cave Creek•4.8
