- TTomVIPSan Diego •18 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoAmazing service by Gwen. She is our go-to for our Date nights because of her friendliness, order accuracy, helpful advice on menu items, and wine knowledge. The Manager TJ was also first class. When you have a plate overcooked or botched it is nice to have someone with the correct response. $hit happens at restaurants, so we don’t get upset. We give the Manager the chance to handle it appropriately. Surprisingly we had a dish overcooked. We mentioned it to Gwen, he response was perfect and then she got TJ to get management involved. TJ’s response was exactly what you would expect from a class A restaurant. No excuses, no diversion, just the appropriate agreement, solution, and offer of dessert. We drive from Surprise to go to the Chandler restaurant because of GWEN! and the Team in Chandler. We will be back…again and again.More infoCooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Chandler, AZPrice: Moderate• American• Chandler•4.5
- SSuzannePhoenix / Arizona •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoBenihana is one of our favorite places to dine, and it never disappoints! We recently visited to celebrate my son’s birthday and had a wonderful experience. The hostess was friendly and was able to accommodate us by adding another person to our party, even though the restaurant was very busy. The service from our waiter was attentive and friendly, and the chef was not only skilled but also accommodating to our requests. The food, as always, was absolutely delicious, and the sushi was exceptional. The highlight was when the staff sang “Happy Birthday” to my son in both English and Japanese—and the waiter took a group photo for us, it made the celebration extra special. We’ve been coming here for years and always look forward to our next visit. Highly recommend Benihana for great food, excellent service, and a memorable dining experience! This version is polished and includes your note about the hostess seamlessly.More infoBenihana - Chandler, AZPrice: Moderate• Japanese• Chandler•4
- JJudithPhoenix / Arizona •7 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoEverything was amazing. We order the calamari for appetizer and the fresh made pasta. The drinks were spot on. After eating we headed over to the Cafe inside the restaurant for some coffee, pastries, and gelato. - PPhilipVIPChicago / Illinois •24 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoMy wife, and our son and his girlfriend, had dinner at Shimogamo Chandler to celebrate our son’s first job. For the first time, we ate at a table, instead of at the sushi counter. Our server, Micah, was terrific. She clearly knew the restaurant, the menu, the food and the drinks. We started with an excellent sake, Ippongi Daiichi Gitai, that was presented by the bar manager, Matt. We ordered a huge assortment of mostly nigiri sushi; Madai (Sea Bream), Mejina (Opaleye Nigiri), Kamasu (Barracuda Nigiri), Kinmedai (Goldeneye Snapper), Aji (Jack Mackerel), Umi Masu (Ocean Trout), Hotate (Sea Scallop), Anago (Sea Eel), Ama Ebi (Sweet Shrimp), Baja Uni (Sea Urchin Sashimi), Santa Barbara Uni (Sea Urchin Gunkan). Micah had the chefs course our fish selections perfectly. After the sushi, we had the Hatcho Miso Duck, Yuzu Mushroom and Fried Shishito Peppers. For dessert, my son and I tried the Harvest in Uji and Matcha Hai cocktails. Everything we had to eat and drink was delicious. If I had known that they had Kakigori (Japanese Shave Ice) for dessert, I would have saved room for it. That’s one more reason to return for another meal, I guess.More infoShimogamo Japanese Restaurant - ChandlerPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Chandler•4.8
- JjulieVIPPhiladelphia County •82 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoAlways such a great dining experience we like to dine at the bar whenever possible and had so much fun. The bartenders are so knowledgeable and so well trained. The popcorn shrimp is some of the best we’ve ever had a very light coating and lots of delicious locally sourced greens to go along with it . We ordered a butter board, which is an amazing treat just like a charcuterie board except a butter board comes with Noble bread -just fantastic. We had the pork chop entrée which was delicious and it’s an all-around great experience, we will be back!More infoThe Hidden HousePrice: Expensive• American• Chandler•4.7
