Salem Restaurants

My first choice was the NY Strip, but it only comes in 14oz size, way more than I would eat, even sharing it with my wife (we are both 80 and don't eat that much). It's listed at $4/ounce, but only served in one size. I don't want to pay $56 for a steak and take a third of it home to stick in the fridge. So we ordered a half rack of ribs, which were the best ribs we have ever had. Great flavor, and the meat fell off the bones. The eggplant parmigiana was meh. The bread platter was delicious. Service was excellent. The noise level in the dining room was prohibitive. I couldn't have heard myself talk, much less my wife. We moved to the patio, which was quite nice, but the weather was perfect for outdoor dining, something that rarely occurs. It's usually too cold, too hot, or too much of a breeze. Drinks were excellent and the wine list was small, but quite good.

We have been to this restaurant many times before and we met friends of ours there this time who have also been here many times. We always enjoy the food we order and plenty to take home for another meal.

Absolutely an amazing dining experience! Marco was a phenomenal, efficient and personable waiter. Everything from drinks to dessert was impressive and delicious! Best steak I’ve ever had! Thank you for making our anniversary memorable! First time dining there and will most definitely be back!
