- BBrucePhiladelphia County •33 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoServer was attentive, but not overly. Seafoods, salads, and sides were perfectly cooked. Even though the place was crowded, we never felt rushed and the place remained quiet. What more could you ask for?More infoBanks' Seafood Kitchen & Raw BarPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Wilmington•4.7

- AAmyVIPPhiladelphia County •161 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoService solid, kind, and quick! Loved that. Also enjoyed the tacos, vodka penne, and thank you for keeping the black bean burger. It’s so flavorful. However, although the food is generally solid, the choices of veggie sides now just being incredible bitter broccolini or spinach just isn’t great. Im a huge veggie lover, but I left the whole side of broccolini on the plate. Broccoli alone or bringing back the roasted veggies would be a welcome add. Also, the kids Mac and cheese being elevated from Kraft would be appropriate. Or at least make that a side kids can order. Most restaurants make their own in house and it’s appreciated/noticed.More infoIron Hill Brewery - WilmingtonPrice: Moderate• American• Wilmington•4.6
- AAndreaVIPPhiladelphia County •46 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoBardea never disappoints. Service was superb … the best we have had yet - and we were a large party of 9. Drinks were kept filled without along. Food arrived in a timely manner. One of the most exceptional servers we have ever had! Food was lovely as always. The burrata puff pastry always delights. Meatballs were excellent - as was the sauce. Tomahawk steak cooked a perfect medium rare. Grilled king prawn perfection. Hot honey pizza again delicious. Spaghetti with clams spot on. Everyone loved the raviolis and potatoes. Consensus favorite dish … the cauliflower! This is our special occasion with a large group restaurant and it is always an exceptional experience.More infoBardea Food & DrinkPrice: Moderate• Italian• Wilmington•4.8

12 of Philadelphia’s outstanding spots for celebrating special occasions
Maybe you got engaged on the steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art or just picked up the keys to your first rowhouse. It could be that your kid is (finally) toilet trained, or that your noisy neighbor moved away. Sometimes, simply surviving another Tuesday can be an occasion to celebrate over a restaurant meal. It doesn’t have to be fancy. What makes an occasion special isn’t an arbitrary date on the calendar—it’s the decision to celebrate. Luckily, Philadelphia bursts with places where the food and atmosphere lend themselves to living it up. Grab dinner and a jazz show at a swinging North Broad Street faithful. Opt for a quieter night at a critically acclaimed, plant-based gem in Midtown Village. Or splurge on a swanky steakhouse that presides over a corner of Rittenhouse Park. Whether you’re after an intimate spot for an anniversary date or a convivial atmosphere for a boisterous reunion, Philadelphia has you covered with these 12 celebration-worthy restaurants.

Discover Delaware
Known as "The First State," Delaware is also first on the list for East Coast diners to discover a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of nearby larger cities without even needing to book a plane ticket. With most of the state bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, it's the perfect place to experience the dining delights of the sea. Those with a gusto for shellfish can crack into their own whole, grilled lobster, or kick back and enjoy a cold beer and oysters Rockefeller while enjoying the beauty of sandy beaches and nearby wetlands. Those who yearn for old favorites with new twists will find their beach sandals knocked off by goat cheese and rosemary pizza. The coast never tasted so good.
