My friend and I went to the circus and ate at Brick's and Barrels afterwards. I'm so very glad we chose to eat there and not somewhere else we were thinking about. Service was great and it looks awesome inside. Our meals were absolutely delicious!!!! I got the Mediterranean Chicken and she got the pork chop. We both love our meals and would definitely go back.

Great eclectic atmosphere. 10/10 for flavor. 5/10 for the tapas not coming out as they were ready. The wagyu meatballs, flatbread and carrots while they tasted great were only lukewarm since everything came out together. Maybe ask customers if they prefer food coming out as they are ready or all together.

Both the food and service were great and appreciated by all in our party. Overall, it was a very enjoyable dining experience, and I would absolutely recommend giving Red Lobster - Charleston (Cross Terrace Blvd.) a try, if you haven't already. Although the wait time varies and can get quite long at times, particularly on weekends, mid-afternoon seems an ideal time to avoid crowds. We arrived at 3 pm, hoping that there would be little wait time since it was in between the lunch and dinner rush, and were seated right away, so that worked out very well!

Discover Charleston

The American explorer Daniel Boone once called Charleston, West Virginia, home. Perhaps he was drawn to the area's natural beauty, which includes the scenic Midland Trail and the 9,000-acre Kanawha State Forest, which is popular with naturalists due to its exotic flowers and diverse bird population. However, Charleston is also an ideal stop for great food. Tantalizing steaks, sea bass, and scallops are popular at a number of restaurants. For a unique upscale dining experience, have dinner at the train station-turned-restaurant while enjoying French cuisine offerings like escargot, soufflés, and crème brûlée. Of course, classic Southern dishes like shrimp and grits and homemade biscuits made the traditional way are a must-have when visiting this charming Southern town.
