Worth every penny and they even packaged our leftovers and kept them for us until we finished the tour. Always the best service and so fun to eat in the stables!More infoStable Cafe -Biltmore EstatePrice: Moderate• American• Asheville•4.7
- SSteveVIPAsheville / Western North Carolina •23 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoLuminosa is one of the latest crown jewels of the already stellar Asheville fine dining scene. This was our fourth time in and the experience just gets better every time we go. Tonight we were a table of three, dining with two of being local and our third being an Asheville ex-pat who put down roots in Montreal a decade ago. Though the signature bread service (which is heavenly) was sold out, the garlic knots we got instead were super delicious and filled that void servicably. The meat and cheese board, as usual, was just enough in terms of quantity and more than enough in terms of quality, and was a perfect set up alongside the beef carpaccio and its crispy capers. We also partook in the embered carrots and rutabaga which were delightful. Our final selection from the Contorni menu was the polenta which is simply one of the best I've ever had, just mind melting. For entrees we went with the carbonara, the malfedine and the Copa steak--which was the clear winner of the evening. While the other two were rich and and wonderful in their own right, the Copa steak with its sweet habanada jelly was stunning, not what I expected at all, but absolutely delicious. Luminosa fills a very specific niche of slightly fancier, slightly dressier and slightly more formal than some of the other luminaries of the Asheville scene and we are glad to have her.More infoLuminosaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Asheville•4.8
- VVictoriaGreensboro / Winston Salem / Highpoint •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a lovely experience! It was rushed because we had tickets for an event and messed up our timing. Although no fault of the staffs, they were kind and understanding when we had to leave immediately after eating. Our food was insanely good….so so so good. I wish I had ordered more scallops. My husband was blown away with the swordfish. Absolutely top 10 meals of our lifetime. We will be back! Asheville and WNC still need us. We are thankful to come and support this beautiful place!More infoThe BlackbirdPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Asheville•4.5

I was surprised this wasn’t validated and very disappointing.More infoEdison - Omni Grove Park Inn & SpaPrice: Expensive• Regional American (Contemporary Southern)• Asheville•4.6
