Looks interesting from the outside but completely disappointing once inside. No imagination, character, or creativity. We were seated facing the door to the bar with bright tacky lights. We were largely ignored for 10 minutes until the “manager” approached to say our server was busy “putting in a larger order” so what would we like to drink. We then saw our server making our martinis. No Grey Goose, just local distillers. Finally we got to meet our server. We ordered the short rib starter, mediocre at best. No flavor, just meat and uninspired sauce on mashed potatoes. We ordered the “Scottish” salmon, which the only thing Scottish may have been the word “Scottish” on the frozen fish box. We were celebrating our 38th anniversary, which was known from my making the reservation, but no complimentary glass of bubbly, no anniversary dessert taste, nothing. We were not impressed, and absolutely nothing was good enough to return. We had heard the Executive Chef/owner had been around for 40 years, and it showed. Tired old menus, probably frozen food cooked in a microwave. And NO memorable customer experience. Forget this place. You’ll thank me.

Good quality ingredients skillfully combined. Nice presentation. Flavor was flat for every course - seemed to be lacking something. I actually asked for salt and pepper, which you should not have to do at a good restaurant. Portion sizes were small - after three courses with bread (additional charge) we were certainly not over-full and we were thinking of a snack when we got home. Service was friendly and attentive. Room is dated and a bit drab. Rather expensive for the dining experience we had.

We had a memorable dining experience last night at Martin's. Martin and the chefs under that roof are artists. They use food as their medium and it is always outstanding. Of course, with a good wine it is pricey - but I believe it is totally worth it. I am looking forward to going again when the outside dining is open. The tables can seem a bit close inside - depending on the clientele. The staff is wonderful.

It was our first time at this restaurant and it was overall great! We were a bit crowded on our table with 6 people, but other than that it was great and we will be back soon!

A Restaurant Week dinner, with many diners waiting at the door expectantly prior to opening. The hungry crowd was handled quickly and efficiently, and the Staff worked their magic. The special menu was varied and interesting. Table service was prompt, efficient, energetic, and cheerful. While tasty and artfully presented, the dinner portions were daintily miniscule. The only "ample" choice was the Caesar salad.

Perfect evening! Cocktails were beautifully crafted, and starters, entrees, and dessert were all wonderful! The entire staff, especially our server Edward Miller, were spot on! Couldn't ask for a better birthday celebration. Thank you, Martin! Your food and the entire experience are unmatched.

Martin Rios hit it "out of the park" last night. We two went for Restaurant Week and were completely impressed with his extensive menu with many selections of wonderfully complex entrees. Then, came the food. All of our expectations were satisfied as each course revealed itself. This was probably the best meal that we have ever had in Santa Fe.
