   Had a wonderful brunch with my friend here this weekend! Great service and I warmly recommend the squash salad with goat cheese :)

   Wonderful experience! Cool and relaxed ambiance, delicious and beautifully presented plates, and excellent service. This has easily become a favourite spot after just one visit.

   Great spot for brunch and lunch. The atmosphere was quiet and cozy, perfect for groups who want to chat and catch up over a meal. We were seated promptly in a booth, and received excellent and attentive service throughout. Will absolutely be coming back.

   My reservation was for 8:00. Me and my date arrived and they made us wait over 30 minutes even though each reservation has a 2 hour limit and they didn’t want to enforce that and didn’t want to tell people who were overstaying their 2 hour limit that other people had reservations made. They took extremely long to seat me and my date and we had things planned and another reservation to go to after that we got to late because of how long they made us wait for a table even though they should’ve told the people who were still there after their 2 hour limit that they need to leave soon. I felt highly disrespected, they didn’t do anything to accommodate for our wait on top of charging me extra for water. I would never come back I will make sure to tell people about my bad experience there, I don’t see why I made a reservation if I still had to wait, it’s like the host there valued everyone else’s reservations except mine and that was a big slap in the face. It threw off the vibes for the night and I didn’t like the service, I didn’t like the fact they didn’t want to tell people that were there for too long that other people have reservations so they should get going soon, that was a terrible first experience at The Clarendon, I don’t like the fact they charged me extra for pointless items it was not a good experience in the slightest.

   The Korean Fried chicken was absolutely delicious!! The fish and chips were a bit underwhelming. The tenderloin was decent. The atmosphere is great. Smooth music like Cleo sol and thee sacred souls playing in the background made it a relaxing atmosphere for a Valentine's Day dinner. The place looks relaxing, yet chic.

    The great food ! is worth the minor imperfections of the cold air blowing in from outside and the adequate service. If they change the name and had great service, they would definitely be in the top 10 for Ottawa.
