The service ranged from nonexistent to condescending. We had to wait for about ten minutes in the foyer (with another three parties) for the hostess, who said that the delay was because she was the only one working. After being seated we finally had to flag down a backwaiter to take our drinks order, which was delivered by a bartender. Our server finally got around to us, which was unsurprising since he seemed to be the only server for the entire room. Any time we needed or wanted something we had to flag someone down. On two occasions the staff forgot to bring dishes we had ordered and we had to ask for them. The food was fussy, expensive, and unmemorable with the exception of the wagyu hot rock and the oyster trio. The Hello Kitty cocktail was delightful and if for some reason you are forced to spend an evening in this chaos, order one to soothe your nerves, which will be thoroughly jangled by the dull roar of the back room. When the bill came we were significantly overcharged for two drinks. The server said it was because we had ordered doubles. We had not. Then someone else came over and said there was a $2 upcharge for the large ice cube. First-- what? And second, since they overcharged us by an additional $13 per drink the math didn't add up. The only other bright spot was one of the backwaiters, who was efficient and friendly and always exactly where he needed to be. They should make him the manager. My advice -- don't go here. But if you do, sit in the much quieter front room, order a Hello Kitty, and doublecheck your bill.

Did the 8 course experience with the wine pairing. Food was excellent and the service was good. However, I feel like for the price and the "experience", we would not have been sat at a regular table by the door. I understand that is a bit nitpicky, but for that price, it should have been a little more worked out.

We thought this was going to be a phenomenal dining experience, but we were left disappointed. The service was extremely slow, and we didn’t feel attended to. It took a very long time for our drinks to come and for the food to come out. Our server forgot to put in a few of our appetizers, so that was disappointing as well.

Komo presents creative and very tasteful preparations. The oysters and the tuna flight are standouts, but everything is delicious. Does not disappoint.
