Robin Menlo Park is a contemporary Japanese restaurant focused on providing a personalized omakase experience using the most pristine ingredients available from the markets each day. Prices range from $109 to $209 depending on each guests unique preferences. Chef/owner Adam Tortosa (1760, LA's Ink) worked in LA under master sushi chef Katsuya Uechi, but here he's putting his own spin on the fish he prepares.     Absolutely fantastic flavor, well executed, perfect balance, every flavor was discernible without overpowering anything else — across all dishes. Well done. Definitely could’ve used larger pieces, 20% bigger to 50% bigger would be ideal.

    We had a wonderful meal at Robin. The ability to choose the amount and quality of food is great and in all cases, we were delighted with the selections we received. Everything was fresh, delicious, and provided a melding of interesting flavors.

    We had a wonderful omakase experience at the sushi counter at Robin. Each dish was unique and truly delicious. The flavors were sophisticated yet not overly complicated. The seafood was so fresh and perfectly cut/prepared. And our sushi shef and his assistant were welcoming and very professional. The coconut milk soft serve with sour cherry sauce and caramelized topping (I can’t remember that detail) was the perfect ending. Can’t wait to return

    Excellent food taste wise, great attentive service, beautiful presentation. the portions are a rather small and not sufficient for even a small eater for the base starting price and need to spend a lot more to feel full.

    We loved the entire experience. We especially think you really got the ambiance, lighting and sound right. The SF location has been known to be too load especially with the music. Menlo Park has energy but is not loud.
