   Dinner at Roses was amazing!!! I shared some dishes with my friend and they were all delicious. Fabulous drinks as well. Harsh was the best, very helpful and funny!!! Will definitely be back, thank you again :)

   Everything was excellent! The service was fantastic and I really appreciated the special touches/attention to detail given that it was a birthday celebration. The food was excellent and the portion sizes were perfect — too often in Toronto you end up leaving a restaurant broke, hungry, and disappointed having overpaid for low quality food. But the food at Roses is delicious, well made and the portions are just right. If you go for brunch, definitely try the warm brioche! Keep up the excellent work, Roses Social! Fantastic place to brunch. Can’t wait to check out the dinner menu.

   First, try the cheeseburger! Best I’ve ever had. This was my second time there. I had been ranting on how great the cheeseburger’s were and it didn’t disappoint when I brought my son for some father / son time. My only issue was our first server who greeted us at the door talked too soft. Even during the ordering process one moment she was quiet then even quieter. Shortly after we were enjoying our meal, another server started to take over while she went to other tables and never returned. We were never introduced to the new person etc. so when it came to tipping, I was left wondering what to do. I always tip well. But the lack of as I’ll call it a routine was weird to who was helping gets the lesser stars on my review. Try the cheeseburger and key lime pie ! You won’t regret it !

   Food was pretty good, but the service was painfully slow and the white wines weren’t properly chilled.

   Worth noting to start that Roses is one of two dining options in Hotel X. Definitely more casual of the two, offering tequila flights, burgers, tacos, steak frites - this is the vibe. Went with colleagues for a quick dinner. It was busy and there were several large and loud groups throughout. This made it very challenging to have any sort of conversation. Service was slow, probably because it was so busy. Food was good but it was barely warm. Fries were cold. Chicken sandwich had a very small piece of chicken that was crispy and tasty. We finished our single round of drinks because we were never offered another and had to flag down a server to bring the tab. Everyone commented that their ears were ringing when we left. We’ve all been to some loud concerts so this was a really extreme level of noise.

    There was nothing wrong with it and we stayed at the hotel. If I wasn't I don't think I'll go back Great hotel btw
