   I had the shrimp lo mien which was really good. Very good amount of prawns and the noodles and sauce were good. I would recommend it. The music was a bit loud but we had a table away from the door off to the corner of the restaurant which was really nice.

   Wasn’t that crowded but still took our server over 15mins to greet us after being sat at our table. Rarely checked in on us and needed to ask server several times for hot water for tea. Food was good (not great) and for the price wasn’t on par.

   As multiple reviewers have said the food here is underwhelming. The menu listed on Opentable is not the menu offered at the restaurant, which is a far smaller menu lacking most of the items that enticed me to go. In comparison, Morimotos other restaurant in Napa downtown and Momosan in Santana Row, are significantly better and more becoming of a talented iron chef. The crispy chilli chicken was basically fried chicken with chillies, and the sticky ribs while ok, weren’t really anything special. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and welcoming and I can’t fault them for the unimpressive menu. Asia has far more variety and culinary riches; please up your game with the food.

   Entrees are individual, however there is definately enough to still do "family-style" if dining with a large party. Service was also great and one of the highlights. Recommend the mapo ramen, good spice and flavor.

   The food and service was great.There was a delay getting our entrees due to a large party getting served, so what is typically a ten minute lag between apps and entrees was more like 30. They were nice and apologized. They probably should have offered a complimentary dessert given we’ve been back several times. We brought local friends who’d never tried this spot and they loved the food. Maybe earlier in the evening so its less likely to be busy? Im not sure this place performs well when busy…or, like a lot of places in our post pandemic world…there just isn’t the same amount of staff available in the labor pool.

   There are two Morimoto locations in close proximity. One is a finer dining experience, the other less so. It felt like a bait and switch for us. But with the high prices of the original restaurant (finer dining experience). Good food but certainly not worth the price paid.

   Overall the food was meh, especially for the price. I ordered the dim sum, chasu ramen, Thai basil fried rice, and the Peking duck. I liked the duck and rice. The dim sum and ramen were mediocre. The staff were nice, but service was slow. It busy when I went either. It took a while for our server to come back and check on us. I even overheard the guests at the table next to me asking about their missing food and to just box it up if it's already being made. The ambiance was very nice, but again considering all of the other things, I would pass on dining here again.

   Having enjoyed our meal at Morimoto Napa enormously we were excited to try Morimoto Napa to celebrate a family birthday. We were sadly massively disappointed. Despite being only half full, the service was appalling. We waited more than five minutes at the door before anyone came to greet us. The menus on the table were stained. We waited ten minutes before a server came to the table and she immediately asked what we wanted to eat, before we’d had the opportunity to place a drinks order. The appetizers then arrived before the drinks. Then she brought out two main courses and told us the other two were going be 15 minutes because they only had one wok station. So two people in our party had no food. The other two were missing the sides. When we complained we were told “we’re trying”. No apology. When the missing mains eventually arrived they gave us a small cup of plain white rice “on the house”. It was laughable. Dinner for three cost $350 and we had the worst experience of any restaurant we’ve been to in Napa. Will not be going back

    Such an incredible dining experience last night with four of my friends. Every dish was incredible !! And we were dining with two incredible chefs. The ribs are not to be missed but honestly, everything was SOOO delicious!!! The service was fabulous! We left the restaurant sharing with each other what an incredible dining experience that was !
