Our waiter was not very concerned about us which was a little disheartening although I will admit it was very busy so maybe he was overwhelmed but it did take away from the experience. other than that it was a good overall experience the food was spectacular the drinks were yummy. I would definitely recommend just not mid morning on a Sunday lol

The service was slow. Not a true Christmas Bar. It was that the restaurant had holiday decorations. The food was hit and miss. One of the best things that we ordered was the mac & cheese. The greens were quite watered down and the cornbread had a interesting taste. I also ordered the short ribs that came out looking like pot roast on a plate of slop to be quite honest. I did not think that that was the best presentation for the order. Overall, I’m not sure that this would earn a second visit for me, but I will say the catfish was decent is very well seasoned however, only on one side. Maybe this is the new soul food standard just not for me.

The food lacked seasoning. We had the Mac and cheese and the octopus dish. I was unimpressed with both. I guess since I’m from the South I have high expectations of what southern food should taste like. I did love the ambiance and service from Tony. I will not recommend the food but the drinks were tasty.

It was a vibe. Very cute and aesthetically pleasing location, and the food had a lot of love and comfort with some cheerful twists. Drinks were amazing. Little disappointed that some of the menu items were unavailable. Overall, we enjoyed our food and will likely return.

Joyce creates a very hip, festive, and engaging vibe. The music and decor enhance the overall feel of the experience. The team is very chill and welcoming. I felt comfortable and relaxed. The food was interesting and attempted to be different. I had the prawns which were different than I have ever had—delicious. I had the smash burger. I felt like it was overpriced and common—nothing special. The drinks were incredibly unique and festive. I will be back for sure—very cool experience.

The cocktails, food and service are absolutely perfect at Joyce. This was my second visit. Enjoyed the Merry Mayhem Uncle Nearest cocktail (a nice, sweet and smooth take on the old fashioned), started with deliciously fresh and warm cornbread. Followed with a fresh goat cheese and beets salad. Shared the full rack of pork ribs and the mac and cheese - both incredibly good. Loved the light spicy kick on the ribs. I was celebrating my birthday and they brought me a really good banana pie with a candle. Loved the food and the great service.

Pleasant evening. Several dishes were spicy like the catfish, Memphis ribs, cauliflower romescu but not overly so. Our favorite dishes were the blue crab gratin with Cajun seasoned crackers and the whole fried Cornish game hen. Good service, informative and never rushed
