Noz Market first opened its doors in October 2020, providing New Yorkers with a resource for high-end seafood, Japanese accoutrements, and delicious prepared sushi and sashimi.

Past the hand roll bar and market front, a bamboo-lined hallway gives way to an intimate 10-seat counter where guests choose from two menu options: the Classic Menu ($90/person) and the Chef's Menu ($155/person). Lunch Omakase ($90/person) is available from Friday-Sunday.

At our table seating, we offer an la carte menu of plated dishes, many of which also appear on our delivery menu.

Reservations for our omakase counter and back tables are now available seven days a week. We look forward to hosting you!

We visited Noz Market and were impressed by the amazing service. The food was good, but when factoring in the price, the value just didn’t quite match up. The bill was quite high and there are definitely better options for the price in terms of quality and portion size. If you're looking for an upscale experience with great service, it’s worth trying but if bang for your buck is a priority, you might want to explore other spots.

I was hoping for a amazing experience and it was fine. It was 200 dollars for 8 nigiri pieces, 9 pieces of sashimi, a roll, and a bowl with rice and sashimi. Not only was the fish ok quality they charged me 12 dollars for water I was not told cost 12 dollars and I asked for tap. They kept trying to add more things without specifying the price. Also it is not specified that you get a complete different experience if you are not at the bar.

Honestly, I just don't get it. I will admit that I historically have not loved super traditional sushi and my expectations of a two Michelin star restaurant were very high, but this was a really bad meal. We ate in the back of the restaurant "Noz Market" where you can order off a still expensive a la carte menu. $90 for a "sushi plate" of 8 pieces and one tiny roll...don't worry it came with a shot glass of the worst miso soup I've ever had. Not a single piece was anything more than basic fish on basic rice. I could get this at 300 other restaurants in the city. I don't get it. The basic rolls were perfectly fine, I've just had so much better at so many other restaurants. BONDST is 10x better than this place. One specific dish ruined the entire meal for me. The "mixed chirashi" which I was excited for to try a range of fish was one of the worst dishes I've ever had at a sushi restaurant. It was a bunch of tiny scraps of random pieces of fish, some really stinky and bad. It was like ordering the fish stew, but all of yesterday's fish was still raw in the bowl. Maybe the counter meal is great...this was terrible. Service was poor, very limited options, zero ambiance...it's a bright room next to the bathroom and kitchen with two tables.

Had the omakase dinner, the service was fantastic, the sushi great although I felt it was a tad salty and maybe drowned out the fish a bit. Either way a great experience and actually a pretty good value considering the caliber of food that was served.

I took my Japanese mom to Noz Market for their Christmas Eve special omakase, and it was truly a 10/10 experience. Every course was so carefully considered, the fish was fresh and delicious, and the chef was so kind and lovely to talk to. This meal was one of the best Omakases I’ve ever had, and for the quality and overall experience the price made it even better. Definitely coming back!

The food was excellent and graciously presented. Ordering was done technically. There was no printed menu. I had preordered the omakase for two. We asked about a carafe of sake. The waitress looked at her phone and suggested two for us to try. We were not shown a menu directly. My companion saw $50 next to our choice. When the bill came the charge was $120. A glass was $50! We complained but they refused any accommodation. They said that is what the bottle cost. The service was naive and they lost what would have been a good customer as I live 5 blocks from the restaurant. Even a small gesture would have been appreciated.

The sushi was good, but by no means great and it was pricey, especially in light of the number of pieces. We felt rushed by the service. Overall, it was quite unimpressive. The stand-up hand roll bar on premises provides tastier food and far greater value.
