The food was delicious and the drinks well mixed. The pretzel was incredible as an appetizer and there was plenty to take home and eat twice more. Nothing was left to be desired in our visit.

I took my work team there for a holiday dinner, and we all ordered the special of the day, which was steak over mashed potatoes and broccolini. The steak was incredibly tender and the potatoes were seasoned well too. We also ordered the bruschetta appetizer and it came in generous proportions. Overall it was a very enjoyable dinner and I will return!

Great spot before events downtown. Reservations helped alot for quick seating. Prices are fair for downtown.

Our server was slow and couldn’t answer basic questions about the food and drink menu. Our food, French dip, was fair . One good point was that our meal was split into two meals as we were sharing. The sangria press was very good.

We will be back, food was great and service was exceptional. We had a show at Devos Place and the Sky walk was a great way to return to Devos Place during the rain.

Whyyyyyy would you close at 6p? You’ve barely entered the dinner hour. Close at 3p. It’s pointless to be open beyond then. We had a dinner reservation starting at 5p and the restaurant closed at 6p. We found a different place. We had drinks, appetizers and dinner and left at 8:30p. Thanks, Scholar!

Restaurant does t really care about service or quality. I had to literally go find someone to wait on us after 20 minutes. Then we ordered and the waitress carried our waters out with our utensils under her dirty arm pit which was covered by napkin but still, that is absolutely disgusting. The food was not very good and was of low quality. The entire situation was awful and those taking care of us Friday were rude and simply not sanitary. Very disappointing in every way and recommend passing on this restaurant.

We will not be going back. The food was very bland, although those in my party who had the 2 lb. pretzel did enjoy that. Everything else was mediocre at best, and we tried a pizza, pesto pasta, grain bowl, caesar salad, and burger. Service was just okay. Despite its convenient location to the VanAndel, do yourself a favour and find another place to score some food and drink.
