   My favorite restaurant in Astoria moved to UES and did not disappoint. I was happy to recognize the Astoria staff who joined the new location. The ambiance is great and food quality was impressive as usual. The handmade pastas were delicious—mafalda with lobster and pappardelle with oxtail ! Our party of six shared desserts at the end and enjoyed a great meal. Can’t wait to return

   Fabulous food. After eating here I will it go to any other Italian restaurant. This is clearly the best Italian in fact the best restaurant in NYC!!! The chicken parmigiana is delicious. It is organic and not fried. It can be cut with a fork. The no knife veal scaloppine is tender and delicious. The pastas are the finest. The chicken meatball soup is amazing as are the mussels. The service is amazing. Carlos the manager is super accommodating and makes everyone feel comfortable. The waiters and bus persons are top notch. Rocco visits every table and treats everyone like family. This is way a restaurant should be!!! We love it.

   Rocco is a class act who warmly greets all his customers and will actually stack your food in a way it will be most flavorful for you.

   They are unable to managed their tables properly. Multiple people ahead of us and our table had to wait 20 + minutes after the reservation time to be seated. The food is average, nothing spectacular, so not worth the wait or the money. The crowd is also off, not people from NYC, all out of towners with attitude problems. Very rude and aggressive, made my friends and I feel uncomfortable. Not that the restaurant can control this, so this didn’t factor into my rating. It just an off experience. Disappointed overall and cannot really understand why this place is so hyped up.

   One of the best restaurant additions to the UES in some time. The food and service are exceptional and the decor was warm and festive.
