The food was good, but it didn’t quite live up to the exceptional quality we experienced at Uccellino, so I was a bit disappointed. However, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was lovely.

Food was excellent, lives up to the quality and creativity of the former Uccillino and Corso. Unfortunately, we arrived 5 minutes early for our 5 pm reservations. We were waived off by the staff when we tried to enter the vestibule to wait- it was minus 25 outside-disappointing start to the evening.

The food and ambience were incredible. The pastas were delish! However the service was incredibly slow. We had to flag someone down to get another round of drinks, and probably would have had more if this wasn’t the case.

First visit to Olia. Sat at the bar and it would be the only place we would choose as the table seating is very open, low and interconnected. Very much like a food court setting which is strange for an elevated dining experience. Maybe there are dividers still coming but if this is the finished product, it might create issues with followers. Very bright as well so if you are hoping for a special dinner, this may not be the place for you. Nice wine selection. The cocktail situation is also interesting. It appears many cocktails are made with pre-mix and the bar staff only has access to the small ice cubes which quickly dilutes a cocktail. Again, unless there are further plans to up the game for cocktails, this maybe isn't the place for those seeking a drink that doesn't water out quickly. Overall the food was delicious, portions were decent and pricing was what we expected. Service was very good and multiple servers looked after us showing off a great team environment.

Olia was fantastic all around. Food was quite good with the goat ricotta and tagliatelle being exceptional. We tried all the pasta dishes. The arancini had a bit too much of a red wine taste for our liking but still very good. Agnolotti was also very good but definitely different from bar bricco in that it’s a lot more of a complex dish with a lot of sweetness from a variety of garnishes. Would pass on the gnocchi next time. Raviolini and parppadelle were very good. Service was exceptional and we were very well taken care of. Food came out at a very good pace even though the place was pretty packed.

Tough place to get into. Need to make your reservation when you see an opening. Food and drinks were excellent. One of the best new restaurants in Edmonton. Service was good. Would be back for sure!
