   We enjoyed this restaurant so much. Our waiter, Winston was really great and the atmosphere (especially where we were seated) is perfect. The only thing I would say was a bit of a distraction was the piano playing. He is vey talented, but was hard to have a conversation, especially if you have hearing loss. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. We were suppose to eat outside, but it was cold that night and changed our seating to inside. Loved our table, quiet and off the to side. We will return and sit outside when the weather is warmer.

   My friends and I have been going to Veranda for many years and we keep coming back because it is an exceptional dining experience. This restaurant is also quintessential Fort Myers and should not be missed!

   This was the first time that our experience wasn’t outstanding. It started with the hostess trying to seat us in the bar where the music and guests were loud. I had specifically asked for a quiet table when I made the reservation, it being our Anniversary. She did move us to the back of the restaurant. However, there were a few very loud tables around us, so at one point I did suggest that my husband and I text each other across the table! Given the elevated prices at this restaurant, you do expect a little better service. Last time when we came, our hostess seated us and placed the napkin on our laps, etc., acknowledged it was our Anniversary, all very special. None of that occurred this time. The food was still outstanding. I haven’t given up on them as it was just one sub-par experience. However, I think we’ll research somewhere else when we want a high quality restaurant with a more intimate and peaceful environment.

   This place is always 10/10! The food is always incredible, you can’t go wrong with a single thing on the menu and the specials are always delicious. The scallops are to die for and the desserts are worth making room for. It’s a must when visiting the area or better yet, if you live near by. Ramsey’s the best!

   Maybe it was my hyped up expectation. My friends recommended as a nice night out for a special occasion. They haven’t been there in about 5 years so maybe it changed. It was good, but nothing outstanding. The place is nice and the service is great. Waiters are dressed in tuxedos. They don’t seem genuinely happy though.

   Beautiful restaurant, delicious and presented beautifully (try the lamb chops) with excellent knowledgeable service by Jessie. Definitely going to return.

   Lived everything but the salad. The house salad was weak for a restaurant of this caliber. It was not tossed , just a dribble of dressing on some mixed greens.

    My wife and I dined at Veranda Oct 4. We got there a half hour early to first have a cocktail at the bar. JD has to be one of the best bartenders ever! We then were seated and Venessa waited on us. My wife ordered a filet snd I had the fresh catch which was bronzed grouper. Both were outstanding and Venessa was great and very attentive. I can’t say enough about the Veranda. It’s not just high quality service and meal, it’s an experience to remember. We will return often and most highly recommend!
