Founded by Top Chef Canada winner Carl Heinrich, Richmond Station is an ingredient-focused and technique-driven neighbourhood restaurant steps from the Eaton Centre and Yonge-Dundas Square. Our open kitchen invites guests to witness the craftsmanship that goes into every plate, from our signature Station Burger to our rotating chef's tasting menu.

Whether you're joining us for a casual lunch, an intimate dinner, or a celebratory gathering, Richmond Station offers a warm atmosphere that makes all feel welcome. We believe that exceptional service is an integral part of our dining experience, which is why we operate with a "hospitality included" model. Hosted by Top Chef Canada winner Carl Heinrich and Executive Chef Aldous Cheung, this unique event offers an interactive dining experience like no other. Dive into hands-on cooking with our chefs, compete in a dessert plating challenge, and savor tastings of wine from Big Head, cocktails from Empress Gin, and beer from Common Good. DJ Matt Migz will keep the energy high as we count down to a midnight toast of Big Head bubbles. With all food and drink included, come hungry and ready to celebrate from 7:30 PM until late—this is the party you don’t want to miss!

  • 7 Course Chef's Tasting Menu

    Multiple dates available
    Our 7-Course Chef's Tasting Menu is a celebration of Ontario’s finest local and seasonal ingredients, thoughtfully curated into seven courses that highlight the best our region has to offer. Priced at $125 per guest, this experience requires all guests at the table to participate, with the last seating at 9:15 PM. Please note, if you are more than 15 minutes late for your reservation, we may be unable to accommodate the Chef’s Menu. We happy to adjust for dietary preferences and allergies with advance notice. Optional beverage pairings are available for $80-$90 per person.

    My husband and I went to Richmond Station to celebrate my birthday. We had the tasting menu (regular for him, vegan for me) and he had the wine pairing. Every try I go about our evening was fantastic! The food was delicious, the service was exceptional, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening

    Some of the noise experience came down to multiple children in the restaurant sitting next to us. Otherwise a really enjoyable dining experience with excellent burgers

    Very pleasant serving staff. Really appreciate the no tipping policy. The food was tasty but could have been hotter. Portion size was modest. It was a special occasion for us and they did an excellent job recognizing it, including complementary Prosecco.

    Awesome experience. Great drinks, fantastic small bites and shareable, attentive service. The steak tartar and polenta fries are both amazing, as is the duck and the pumpkin Mac and cheese. Would definitely recommend and will return next time we are in Toronto.

    Our server was great, but unfortunately the rest of the team didn’t back him up. The starters and appetizers were original and offered a textured flavour, however approximately 25 minutes elapsed before the mains arrived. The main dishes, the burger and the arctic char were nothing to write home about; in fact the fish was particularly bitter, and lacking in savoury and spicy or acidic notes to balance it out. I ate it begrudgingly because of time and I don’t like wasting food. The server did a great job of attending to us despite the kitchen’s back up and did an unexpected but appreciated gesture in comping our drinks as an apology for the delay. He was knowledgeable about the wines and cocktails and polite and timely in his check ins. This was a special occasion so I was a bit disappointed on behalf of my partner as I wanted it to be super special for her and unfortunately it did not meet my expectations given the other reviews I’d read. We didn’t even have time for desert has we had an event to get to. Maybe just an off night in the kitchen, who knows.

    Couldn't choose between a shared starter and entree and the tasting menu, but ultimately choose to share a starter with my companion and each ordered an entree. The two diners next to us on the communal high top had the tasting menu and said it was wonderful but a lot of food. We wouldn't have gone wrong either way, but my companion and I started with the brûlée brie and then she had the Station Burger and I had the roasted suckling pig. Everything was so delicious! Top marks! Our server, Brandon was the absolute best too--attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuine. We were very pleasantly surprised to hear that tipping was not required, as gratuity was built into the menu price and staff were paid a higher wage than most other restaurants. Dining at Richmond Station was the culinary highlight of our trip to Toronto. I would not hesitate to highly recommend this restaurant.
