Milestone 229 is an American restaurant located in Columbus, Ohio that specializes in serving classic American comfort food. The restaurant features a modern vibe with an airy dining room and a patio that overlooks the Scioto Mile fountains. The fountains are currently under construction but slated to open before this summer!

Milestone 229 serves lunch and dinner daily and a weekend brunch. Brunch at the restaurant consists of such fare as Belgian waffles, a variety of Egg Benedicts, Foster's French toast, and Chilaquiles. Lunch and dinner at Milestone 229 features an assortment of snacks and starters, soup and salads, entrées, sandwiches, pizzas and desserts.                                                             We were glad to eperience Milestone 229 one more time before they close their doors on 12/31/24. What a great restaurant with a beautiful location in Bicentennial Park. They will be missed.

                                                            The service was amazing, the young lady was so positive and energetic. She was running the bar while waiting on us and never missed a beat. I hope she lands an amazing job after Milestone 229 closes down

                                                            We got notification that they were closing so made a reservation. Upon arrival they were slammed understandingly and we had to wait a long time to get seated. The servers, bartenders, hostess and manager were extremely positive and apologetic. We didn't mind knowing the situation. Our service at both the bar and restaurant were exceptional as well as the food as always. We will miss you Milestone 229♥️

                                                            We were first reservation of the day and took 45 minutes to get our food. Two other tables got their food before us. The meal I wanted I didn’t get and was told 20 minutes after I put in my original order, was told it would be 40 minutes to get, so changed my order.

                                                            Four of us had different dishes and loved them all—salmon, crab cakes, gluten free sofrito with chicken (ask for the separate gf menu), and tuna poké. My salmon was cooked perfectly—crisply browned in just enough places but tender inside—and the julienned veggies and sticky rice were a lovely accompaniment.

                                                            They were understaffed. The hostess worked hard but we waited for a table despite holding a reservation. The table we set at was makeshift, but server worked hard and food was tasty.
