The American steakhouse is an iconic restaurant institution. We’d wanted to tell that story for years, but waited until we had the skill, talent and ability to execute it properly, and the right space to be our canvas, an important corner in Little Italy, a neighborhood where we have deep roots. We brought an almost academic appreciation for steakhouse history and tradition to Born & Raised, while trying to stay relevant and authentic to ourselves and our city. Our dry-aged beef pays tribute to earlier, earthier, pre-government grading practices and is the centerpiece of a meal best savored at a slow pace. The steak tasted like cow, didn’t have salt or seasoning. The Mac and cheese was salty and the service could have been better. Too pricey for what it’s worth.

Came here to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. I had requested outside and they sat us at a beautiful table right under a heater which was amazing! Meagan helped us and was so attentive. Thank you. We will be back!!

We have been here many times and took friends for their first time. We are all business professionals and decided on a nice night out. My rating is solely based on service with our server Matt. It took 10-15 minutes for our server to even acknowledge us when he was very prompt with the table next to us. It took 30 minutes from being seated to have him come over and then get us drinks. He barely came back to our table to check on us or allow us to order more. We had to flag him down. Again, we watched him overly cater to the table next to us of younger individuals. It will be while if we do come back. It wasn’t a great experience by any means. Thankfully the decor and view were pretty since service was poor!!!

We arrived on time for our reservation but we weren’t sat until 30 minutes later. After finally being sat, our server then took 20 minutes to greet us. Throughout the meal, he was very difficult to reach. The saving grace for this place was the food, everything was delicious! However, the service did not match the same level or price of the meal.

Great food and great atmosphere! It was my first visit and I was not disappointed. Pricey, but you get your value, and for me, was well worth it.

This was our first visit and we had an enjoyable date night. We started with caviar and snails. Both were great. The snails were definitely our favorite dish of the evening. We followed up with a filet and a ribeye. Both were cooked exactly as ordered and were good. A good experience overall.
