The food was absolutely terrible! All the hot food was cold. They didn’t have egg whites for the omelette station. Omelettes were overcooked. The desserts were terrible water and orange juice were served in plastic cups, which is terrible for a $70 brunch. This was a terrible, terrible waste of money. I recommend that nobody goes there.

If you are looking for a fine dining experience in San Diego that includes all you care to eat champagne brunch on weekends, 94th Aero Squadron has always been a favorite of mine. You can save by booking an early bird reservation while enjoying a quieter atmosphere. Enjoy golden age music or marvel at the aircraft departing and landing at the nearby airfield. Everything on the menu is prepared wonderfully. The star of the show is the crab legs (which you can enjoy chilled or steamed by the chef) Customize your own omelets or have fresh pancakes created just for you. The waffles paired with various fruit compote and whipped cream is a sugary delight. All you breakfast favorites are present along with a wide selection of meats, sushi and new this time around (a ramen station). All while champagne or mimosas sparkle in the sunlight. This is the perfect place to bring your sweetheart. If it's Valentine's, a Birthday, Anniversary or you just want a delicious dining experience, this is that secret place.

It was all very well done. A bit of a shock to pay upon entering but it made it easy in retrospect. Great variety of food. Was all flavorful too. Will go back there as often as we can!

I took my Wife here to celebrate her Birthday & we were very disappointed. It was Restaurant week, so the menu was limited, however the food was subpar. We both ordered the Ossobuco & the meat was dry, & had no taste at all. There was no seasoning on it whatsoever. My Wife sent hers back & got the seafood pasta. The waitress didn’t say it was spicy, so again it was another failure. It was too spicy to eat. The best part of the meal was the French onion soup. We also had 2 drinks @$18 each, which seemed a little excessive as well. We will most likely not be going back to this restaurant for a long time., if at all. Overall a very disappointing experience. Thanks

I was really excited to try this place but I guess the ownership changed recently? Some of the food was pretty good but 85% of it just felt cheap and old. The pita bread was hard as a rock, all baked goods were heavily processed and manufactured. Especially those chocolate croissants. Hot food and sushi was okay. I understand that it’s a buffet so quality can only be at a certain level but for a 75 dollar price tag per person it’s a little lame. The other thing was service. We paid and tipped 18% at the front yet didn’t get any help whatsoever. No refills, no bussed plates. Never a hey how is it going. Literally nothing. I would also walk around with a bottle of bad sparkling every 20 minutes and not clear tables or provide drink service if I could get paid for it too. Pitiful

Really disappointed. First time we ate here the food was fantastic. The second time, not so great. The third time, fair. This time, really poor. The food was cold and clammy. The taste, not good, not good at all. I spoke with other patrons and they said the same thing. This dining experience was really poor. It seems to get worse every visit we make. Four times, at $300 a visit and the 94th Aero Squadron has struck out. Love the atmosphere, but I am seeking value for the money. Time to find a new venue.

Cold welcoming, rushed order, Osso Bucco came with no sauce, couldn’t eat the dry meat. Took it home to add sauce. We are sad because at one time this was a real gem with outstanding food and impeccable service. Had many celebrations there. Since covid it’s never been the same. We were hopeful that things turned around, but not so lucky. We won’t be back.
