The Roaring Fork offers bold American wood-fire cooking with fine dining atmosphere. We serve dinner nightly starting at 5pm and Happy Hour daily from 4pm - 6pm in our bar and lounge area only. Sorry, no reservations for Happy Hour. Our bar and lounge is always open seating. Reservations are always recommended for dinner. Thank you for your interest and we hope to serve you soon.

    Great meal with an excellent waiter. Waited a little while on our entree. Seated around several loud groups. Will definitely go again.

    We went to The Roaring Fork primarily for their delicious mussels. Unfortunately, we were informed that that item is no longer on their menu. Needless to say, we were very disappointed. The meal that we ended up having was a very plain nondescript Caesar salad, and a very simple sautéed fillet of trout. I’m afraid what used to be one of our go to special restaurant has now been reduced to probably never again.

    Second time to roaring fork and was a disappointing experience. We were seated right away with drinks and appys coming quickly. Salad (bland and sparsely decorated) was next then an hour plus wait for dry pork tenderloin and undercooked steak. We did get comped for pork and the appy which was appreciated but there are too many great options in Austin to put up with poor kitchen management.

    Drinks didn't come out until right before our entrées came out (and we got an app...) server was nice but flustered. Food was outstanding and they comped the drink so overall made up for most shortcomings. Probably wouldn't return.
