   This resteraunt exceeded my expectations. We dine in for the 55 dollar winter resteraunt week special and it was really good. Service was immaculate !

   Other locations of Bobby Van’s are of higher standard. We ordered the price fixe - The salad was bad- tasted like it was taken out of a pre packed salad kit. The calamari didn’t feel fresh nor crunchy, just not good. The filet was good and the peppercorn sauce was good. The brownie wasn’t good. The cheesecake was not bad, quite good and the chocolate ice cream was nice. We expected much more. Also, I booked through OpenTable for 4 people and and when we arrived the hostess said she only see a table for 2 and the restaurant is busy so it took some time to arrange the table. We will not be back.

   We made a reservation ahead of time for a party of 2 at 6pm on a Saturday (pre show). We were told that even though we had a reservation for a table - there were none available and gave us an option of a high top by the bar which we took as we had no other option. There were no servers assigned to the Bar area so the bartender (who was very nice) took our order. It promptly got quite busy and he was obviously quite busy and was not able to take care of us anymore. We were essentially forgotten and had to get up to get our own water and request drinks. In addition, it took over an hour to receive our entrees. The food was fine - nothing exceptional an average value for the 3 course dinner. They were understaffed and clearly the patrons suffered but also the staff. Management needs to respect their customers better but also really needs to consider their hardworking staff as well. Staff is working so hard to fill the holes management has left open and also has to deal with the angry and frustrated customers. I hope they can figure it out.

   Service was subpar. Had to wait forever for someone to take our order. Once order was taken the appetizers took forever to come to the table. Mains came to the table separately and one had to be sent back. It was cooked wrong. Loaded baked potato looked dead. No steak knives were provided. Manger came over to address the situation but gave off the vibe of what do you want me to do about it since we are busy. I would not go back again on a weekend. The only saving grace was the quality of the food.

   The food was delicious. The service was excellent. We went before a show and they made sure to get us out in time. It was a special occasion so we splurged on dinner. We both had steak, it was cooked perfectly. We shares sides and it was enough for both of us. Highly recommended..

   Service was very slow. Waited 15 minutes to be recognized after being seated and after drink order was placed and delivered we were ready to order. At that point waiter had said I’ll be right back!! Waited another 15 minutes before someone else took over. Be prepared to wait and what’s interesting is that it wasn’t that busy. Staff needs to do better as we noticed we were not alone with what we encountered.
