    Little has changed other than the prices over the last 40 years plus of this venerable Baltimore institution . That of course, is both a blessing for the regular patrons who value little change and a curse for those who eat at competitive restaurants and see a facility stuck in time as it gets lapped by newer entrance into the market. The contributed capital from the landlord in order to induce a lease renewal was just about invisible.

    We had a great experience celebrating a colleagues upcoming retirement. Jimbo was fantastic! The food was exceptional and the overall experience fantastic.

    The quality of the steaks and the flavor was great but my son and I both ordered our steaks (filet for him and strip for me) medium rare but when they came out, his was very rare and mine was pretty medium. We didn't complain but you would think a steak house would be very exact when prepping their main thing.

    Our server Nathen was efficient as always. The oysters were cold, large and delicious. The Prime Rib end cut was very disappointing. Very little flavor and thin. Not what it used to be. We ordered a lettuce wedge. They were out of lettuce. I have been going to The Prime Rib for 50 years. I will return but no more end cut.
