   This restaurant is entirely too small. ALL seats are stools with no backs and you are seating at a bar right on top of your neighbor. The bathroom was so small that the sink was literally above the toilet. The food, wine and service were OK, but the seating so uncomfortable, cramped and loud that had we had another option for dinner we would have left. The group sitting next to us felt the same way. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone unless they are dining alone and don't mind tight quarters.

   It ended up being fun. It would have been nice if they told you there is only 1 table in the whole 400 sq ft building, and that you’ll be sitting elbow to elbow with strangers.

   Great pasta - the Bolognese was amazing! We sat at the counter and were served amazing food so quickly but not rushed. Also the chocolate souffle is a must!

   Briciola is an amazing restaurant, one we visit every time we come to New York. The food is amazing and the staff is equally amazing! Be aware that the restaurant is quite small with only a bar and one large community table; not the place for a quiet, intimate dinner as you'll be sitting right next to other parties but it is also the beauty of Briciola. We have met some amazing people and shared stories with them on our experiences in New York and our hometowns. The food is absolutely amazing; love the concept of smaller dishes that you can share within your party and so you have a chance to try so many amazing pasta dishes. The gnocchi was amazing and the Fettucine al Funghi was incredible! A must try! All in all an amazing experience and Briciola will always be on our itinerary when visiting NYC!

   We loved the food, it was excellent. However, it is a tiny restaurant with one large communal table. The service and hostess were rushed and a little rough from a service standpoint. When we were still eating and drinking wine after only being there 30 mins, the hostess was asking us to leave since there were people out front waiting on our table. Other guests were being rushed out too but had yet to receive their appetizers! I reserved the restaurant months in advance for a special occasion. It is not a relaxing, comfortable dining experience.
