This casual, upscale restaurant offers innovative American cuisine including the freshest seafood from the Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic and Pacific, great steaks from Allen Brothers in Chicago, and regional and seasonal specialties. Daily lunch and dinner specials feature local ingredients whenever possible. The Heights burger can be paired with hand cut French fries, crispy thin onion rings, homemade lemon-pepper potato chips or German potato salad. There is an outdoor patio under a canopy of oak trees that's shady and extremely popular with locals and visitors to San Antonio. The brunch offered on Saturdays and Sundays features a menu of classic egg dishes, Texas pot roast, jumbo lump crab cake, seasonal "out of the blue" seafood entrees, entree salads, and Mustang chicken. Cappy's has an ever-changing, dynamic and well-priced wine list, with great choices by the glass or bottle. Full bar.

    Excellent food and service as always (I even got a handmade birthday card!!). Our server, Justin, made excellent wine recommendations to pair with our food. The pork chop and lobster thermidor were incredible (as was the special feature- smoked steak appetizer). If you are a gin drinker, get their Parisian 75- it does not disappoint!! A perfect birthday dinner!!

    I was a bit disappointed in the mussels very small and not as tasty as I have had in the past T he service was a little slow

    Very dim lights. Hard to see. Salmon super salty. Otherwise good. The mocktails did not taste at all like mocktails, it was more like soda water.

    Just another great dinner and experience at Cappy’s. Our server, Marc Anthony, took outstanding care of us. All in all, another great dining experience at Cappy’s.

    Very friendly and competent staff - menu had something for everyone and food was well prepared. Had an enjoyable and relaxed evening for our first time at Cappy's. This place is now on our list of places to do again.

    Was awesome & everything was beautiful fresh & tasteful entrees. The GM came to our table & welcomed up, & a lovely gesture brought us over a desert that was the best . Thank you again 5 star .
