Located in the heart of Washington, D.C. within the iconic Willard InterContinental, steps from the National Mall, and across from Pershing Park, a national park home to the new World War I Memorial, Café du Parc is reminiscent of a Parisian-inspired sidewalk café.

Nestled between The White House and the U.S. Capitol, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the nation’s capital, Café du Parc’s seasonal outside terrace remains a trendy locale for al fresco dining by both visitors and Washington, D.C. locals alike.

Paying homage to traditional French cooking, the restaurant offers diners various culinary creations from coffee and pastries at its coffee shop, Le Café, to breakfast, lunch, dinner, and brunch on Sunday on its outside terrace or inside the main dining room. We are pleased to offer parking validation for Valet or Garage parking at Willard InterContinenatal when you join us for dinner.

Mediocre, over-priced food and we were seated in a hallway next to an elevator. If you want to see the pretty Christmas decorations, walk through and eat elsewhere.

We had a pre-theater dinner here on a Friday night. Great food and lovely ambience. The mussels were plentiful and delicious. The chicken was delectable- just the thing for a cold DC night. The kids both had the hangar steak and loved it. While it’s not in the official drink menu, they make a great French 75 5:45 reservation gave us plenty of time for a leisurely dinner & quick walk to the National Theater. Highly recommended

Sadly, my friend and I had a poor experience at Cafe Du Parc. I had booked lunch to celebrate her birthday. Upon seating us, we were not advised by our waiter of any dishes on the menu that they were not serving that day. When attempting to place our order, we were then informed that the mussels were not being served - the heads up upfront would’ve been appreciated. We revised our order and instead ordered the Plat du Jour (rockfish) and the Steak Frites. While the rockfish was decently prepared, the steak was tough, stringy and only 1/3 of it was manageable to be eaten. As the most expensive item in the menu, we’d have expected a better quality. In addition to the disappointment with the food, the fire alarm had sounded for most of our meal. We were told firstly that it’d been set off by smoke in the kitchen, yet later we were told that it was a test. Unfortunately the ringing alarm noise certainly did not prove to be susceptible to a calm and enjoyable setting for our meal, especially when it lasted for as long as it did.

The food was very good. The area was small, booth almost too cozy for two. For such a beautiful hotel I expected more from the restaurant.

We were disappointed by the quality of food, relative to the high-end nature of the cafe (and its prices). French onion soup with no onions (and little cheese; mostly just broth), bland escargot, and bread that was clearly not fresh. The ambiance was good and service adequate, however.
