   Wish could give the service more than 5 stars. We made last minute reservations for 9. Had a great table. Service was outstanding.

   Really relaxed environment, near to university so mostly students serving students. Big selection of gins and whiskies. Food very tasty. Would definitely go again. All good, minimal fuss.

   Really enjoyed the food and the ambience of 56 North! Great venue - really nice menu - food very good. Great selection of drinks, especially the Gins!

   I'm a regular diner at 56 North and my overall assessment of yesterday's Brunch experience is that it was again Excellent in all aspects of a dining out experience - Food Quality, Table Service, Comfortable Seating, and Value For Money!! Graham Aitken

    Lovely brunch spoiled by our own naivety & lack of knowledge, experience & or professional. We had a itison voucher & had booked the table no problem through open table. When we arrived we had a warm welcome & asked for our name. The young waitress recognised the name & escorted us to our table. We did not wait long when asked for drinks & our food order. The food was very good & we just had our one drink. When we went to settle our bill, our assumption was no money required as the voucher was for a burger, fries & onion rings to share with wine or beer. As we only had 1 beer & 1 wine we thought it would be a simple transaction….but oh no. It should have been a glass of house wine & only certain beers. So we were charged circa £13.50 for our two drinks. I let the young lady know my feelings but paid up & left. In reality we should have sat back down & said bring us our drinks covered by the voucher & the onion rings that they did not being. An unpleasant end to what should have been a lovely afternoon 😟😟😟
