   A very nice dining experience. We had not eaten in the Vancouver Hotel for years. The food was tasty and well presented. Reasonable cost. Our waiter Stephen was very good, paid us the right amount of attention without rushing us. A return is planned.

   Lovely restaurant. very attentive staff. reservation and parking was seamless. Good food choices. presentation was outstanding. flavours were well blended. I loved the option of not having rice or potato but an out of the ordinary 'pearl miso' with my protein. excellent choice on our part for dinner. highly recommend the restaurant and will return as a custome to enjoy it again.

   I love the ambiance and staff at Notch 8. For a hotel bar I would like to see less offered but better executed

   It was my husband's birthday on the 14th. Our family of 4 came for dinner. We got our orders taken along with wine and drinks. Our appies came out well before we got our wine poured. The waitress came by once to ask how the food was, not once it's she top up the wine. She came by a second tome when the mains were brought out didn't ask if we needed anything or if anyone would like a drink. Came back to bring his free birthday cake and clean the tvale. We wanted to order more wine and my son was going to have a cocktail but their was already done and she never came by. Super disappointed in spending over $400 there for the worst service ever ever received. Will not be coming back and have changed our reservations for our companies Christmas get together. Super sad.

   Went to Notch8 with my 3 girlfriends for our annual pre Christmas brunch. We were first struck by how beautiful the place is. We had the buffet which consisted of a variety of choices for every taste. The food tasted amazing and the service was top notch. Our server was extremely friendly and efficient without being overly sugary as it is very common to encounter these days. We would all recommend Notch8 and would return without a doubt.

   It's worth the price! I commend the staff especially Maribel and Leo. Maribel was very accommodating to our request to have the spot perfect for photographs to spend a special occasion, and Leo went beyond his service by giving me and my husband a personalized cake to celebrate our anniversary. The food was amazing and it's definitely worth the price.
