Boiler House at Pearl is a true Texas original. Situated in the historic Pearl Brewery complex on the San Antonio River Walk, this wine-centric restaurant occupies the former “boiler house” which powered the adjacent brewery. Lead by Executive Chef Alberto "Beto" Gutierrez, the menu focuses on grilled items from local farms and markets, with a focus on “Texas ranch-style” cuisine. These delicacies are paired with extraordinary wines from around the world (available by the glass, bottle and “to-go”), full bar, live music and a casual yet energetic atmosphere. The unique list of wines boasts some of the lowest prices in the area.

The restaurant incorporates various private dining areas suitable for private or corporate functions and an expansive outdoor patio area where guests can enjoy dining alfresco. We can host groups anywhere from 9 up to 290 guests in our unique, flexible private event spaces.

    Our service was spot on fantastic!! Sweet & kind server. The bartender was so polite & kind as well. The food was amazing!! Will for sure return!

    Absolutely wonderful evening out with the wife! Our host Darren was a never ending book of knowledge on wines and the menu. He spoke to us about the new Texas Wild Game options. I got the Espresso Rubbed Elk Chop and my wife got the Wild Boar Lasagna and they were both phenomenal. Darren also suggested us a special bottle of wine that was out of this world. It paired so well with our wild game dishes. Vince, our second host, was an absolute pleasure to talk with and brought us our desert. We got the White Chocolate Bread Pudding and it was amazing! Vince suggested us some coffee to pair with the dessert and it went very well! All around great quiet place for a date night!

    The food was amazing. Service was pretty good. The new guy did well. In time, he'll be great. We were seated under the chandelier right by the vent, and our food got cold quickly! Next time I'll make sure to ask to move or a different spot.

    Service was great. My wife's salmon was a little salty. My NY Strip had a line of gristle in it. Other than that a great experience.

    The food was excellent but a bit pricey for me . I believe the location added to the price. The Pearl has a lot do but mostly for the younger crowd. The restaurant menu seemed a bit limited. There a large wine menu and bar to order drinks.

    The food was fantastic. This would be a great place for a nice dinner/date night. We tried to go for a business lunch and the food and service moved too slow for a normal lunch hour. Of our group of four, two are planning on returning soon with their spouse when they have more time.
