   A small complaint, the crude is way too large for an appetizer. Would prefer smaller portion and price. A larger complaint is the added 20% service charge. Takes away my ability to tip in accordance with my service! Also don’t know if all of the money goes to the house or split fairly.

   The service was outstanding. Our meals were quite tasty and the perfect size portions that didn't leave us feeling like we had to overeat. We really enjoyed watching the Christmas ships preparing for their voyage that night.

   Great experience! Service was amazing, food was delicious and restaurant has a nice ambiance. Our server picked out a bottle of wine for us after describing what we enjoyed and it was perfect!

   The food was practically German, not even Northern Italian. Certainly not "normal" Southern Italian saucy-cheesy. Bolognese sauce should have liquid in it at some point, and Carbonara over... penne? Okay, but maybe a warning would have helped. We were hungry after a plate of Italian food, which should not happen.

   We were greeted by a friendly hostess and seated fairly quickly. The service was not great (long waits, pour our own wine, etc.) and the restaurant was 25% occupied. The pasta was so so and the penne bolognese dish was underwhelming. We were not impressed and will not return when back in Portland.

   Food was very good, I'm not familiar with downtown Portland and it took me 45 min to find the restaurant. GPS led me to a locked gate. Staff tried but weren't overly helpful in finding it. My biggest complaint was that they added a 20% gratuity and our party of two. I always leave 20% but I don't like the fact that it is mandatory.
