   For what I paid ($311) the food was not good at all. I wasn’t expecting the regular menu to change because it was Valentine’s Day, but definitely was not good. The room upstairs where we were seated was cold and and just didn’t feel warm and romantic as I thought it should had been especially it being for valentine’s. My date and I were seated at a big round table and it just felt like we were so far apart from each other. Their waiter was ok and very polite and he did try to make our experience better. Very disappointing with our experience.

   Food was great for the valentines day menu. The shrimp cocktail could have been better, felt like it was kind of just a filler for one of the courses required. The rest of the courses were amazing. Wish we had a downstairs table, the conference room upstairs felt strange.

   It’s by far the best steak restaurant we’ve been to in the 757. Aside, my wife had the duck/beet confit and it was a 10/10 as well. We were happy to celebrate our occasion at such a nice place. Look forward to coming back.

   Our experience started off poorly, as a result of being seated directly outside the door to the kitchen. It was noisy and not an intimate setting. Twice we were told they could not reseat us, due to other reservations, but finally we did get moved to an open booth. After that, we had the type of experience we were hoping for, with great wait staff, great food, and an intimate setting. If you make a reservation on line, be specific as to where you would like to be seated, since there are a few less desirable locations than others.

   Me and my dh visited last night 6pm reservation. Had been looking forward to dining here for some time. We were seated promptly. Given a few moments at the table. Attendant was Nicki absolutely wonderful service with a genuine passion for her job. Gave us a few moments with the vast menus. We decided on drinks and to skip the app in favor of trying a dessert. I indulged with strawberry lemon drop martinis . excellent choice from a stellar bartender. DH received cold glassed beer. service continued to be wonderful without being intrusive. We had the short rib and stone ground grit as well as the 28 day aged ribeye and potato. both meals were fantastic. If i had to say 1 negative would be i would rather there be less grits and more short rib au ju. More than enough food. We did also try there black and white cake. very nice cake not dry but the filling and frosting needed some time to come to room temp. For better flavor. We will be back.

   The waiter explained our options in details; the drinks were perfect and the food was delicious. An added bonus to manager for accommodations of a booth table to ensure our remaining time at dinner was enjoyable

   We had a group of five friends that had not seen each other in a long time. The server Hailey D. was amazing and I am sorry we kept her there until closing. She did an amazing job taking care of us making sure that our glasses were full and the food was to our liking. Everything at River Stone was wonderful from the martini's, to the steaks and seafood, to dessert. Thank you to everyone at River Stone and thank you to Hailey D. for the great service.

    She was very good the other waitress was also very helpful. Charlie came by and spoke to us he always remembers us.
