It was our second time visiting, and based on the first experience which it was good we decided to come back. Our server didn’t bring drinks on time, every time she filled our glasses wine she constantly leaked on the table almost on my food, the restaurant didn’t had cold Stella’s to serve. And the explanation of the menu was poor in order to help and make a choice, we were there with friends from Italy and for the money and the food portion and quality and the service you get it’s a ripoff. Please improve! It will be hard for us to give Roy’s another chance!

Even when taking into account it was Valentines Day Evening, restaurant was extremely under staffed @ front of the house and our server was completely terrible. She was dis-engaged, would purposely walk away when seeing we needed something plus food quality this evening was overall “way” under standards we have enjoyed multiple times there @ Roy’s. Manager on duty tried correcting severely undercooked foods and was very pleasant in trying to correct restaurants under-performance but after this experience they have lost me and my family as customers.

Food was outstanding and servers were very pleasant and did their best to help each table. Only negative was the length of time between starter and entree from the kitchen even though we were required to give the kitchen our entire order up front. Management however was very accommodating in recognizing the undue delay caused and waved a portion of our bill.

Previously dined here in March 2024. The food and service then was amazing, and my only complaint was the length of service. Unfortunately, this time it’s the opposite. I booked my reservation for Valentine’s Day on January 21, 2025. I was never informed there was a preset menu. Restaurant didn’t call me until 8:30 p.m. the night before to tell me that it was a preset menu - too late to go anywhere else so I kept the reservation. The amuse bouche was good. My lobster bisque was not Roy’s quality. It did not even taste the same as other times I’ve had it. The beef carpaccio was really good. My significant other’s Filet mignon with crab cake was wonderful. My New York strip was not good at all. Our server, whose name I unfortunately cannot remember, was wonderful and nice. I was advised after my previous review to come back and give them another chance. The manager insisted he would make things right. He came by our table and proceeded to say negative comments about his bar staff. I was completely caught off guard by this. You are the manager - the success of the restaurant falls on you being a positive leader for your staff. This immediately turned me off. I wanted to leave and based on the food, I probably should have. Absolutely unprofessional in my opinion. I have not decided yet, but I do not think I will be returning.

We were at Roy’s on Valentines Day and the dinner was stellar and amazing! Every offering was world class and the staff could not have been more gracious… even though we arrived a little late…. They made us feel welcome. This was an unforgettable dining expert and we are local and will be back!

I realize it was Valentine’s Day but packed in like sardines. Nowhere to move or enjoy private conversations. 40!minute wait for a drink and another 30 minutes for the appetizer. If they don’t have the staff to handle the crowd, then don’t pack the restaurant with patrons. First time there was no rose at the table as well. We have been here for many Valentine’s Day dinners but no more. Not with the $129 per person when you can hear your neighbors chew their food. Very disappointing

Food was good but they had a limited menu of options. Service was not that good, I didn’t see my server during the whole dinner. They forgot to bring my appetizer and then I got it with the main course. Food was good, but still I think this place is over priced I pay $357 for a dinner for 2 and it wasn’t nothing out of this world.

Overall, I would recommend Roy's. It is a very fine dining experience that we enjoy on special occasions. We did have one issue with our wine having cork in it, but they quickly resolved it with new, fresh glasses of wine. The only other issue is the price. It costs about $175 a person to eat a meal that should have cost about $50-$75 a person, not including the wine. Prices everywhere are out of control, and I hope there is a nationwide course correction soon.

Unfortunately I have to write a bad review for a place that I used to love. Food was mediocre and service was horrendous!
