   I’ve always gone to Roy’s with my family of 10,..this time just me and my wife and guest. It’s the first time I’ve gone out dining for Christmas. I was a little disappointed in the expectations. More noisy than I wanted, food was great but the usual and is why I go Roy’s. Host started out with letting us know the name of our waitress, Julie? Then the waitress came and told us “Lisa”? So it was a humorous conversation the whole lunch time. Then looking at the menu, I’ve NEVER seen Roy’s prices for food “3-digits”. Some of my favorite items were a hundred or more? Not that hungry, so had to settle for something else. What made the experience a little more acceptable was one of the bus boys came across pleasant and laughed a lot. Will still go Roy’s but not as much now. Mainly because of pricing and certainly not for Holidays. See you folks sometime?

   This place is overpriced and the food does not warrant it. Service was fine, however they’re trying to sell you on higher priced items. Enjoy!

   Exceptional experience and food. Front of the house friendly, enthusiastic and professional. Back of the house are the real deal. Excellent!

   Another awesome anniversary at Roy's! The food was amazing. We had the truffle dusted crispy brussel sprouts as an appetizer and for dinner the Classic Duet, (macadamia crusted local fish of the day along with the Misoyaki Butterfish) and the Pork Belly Trio. The food was cooked perfectly and was fresh and delicious. The Pinetini's are too good and the Mount Ka Ala Mai Tai was perfect. One of the managers, Chavis, made sure to pay a visit right after we arrived and recognized us as returning guests and wished us a happy anniversary. Steven was our server. Steven was on top of it and made the entire experience seamless and very pleasurable. The rest of the staff was warm and welcoming. Tai, the general manager brings the Aloha which elevates the Roy's experience! Thank you Roy's, we can't wait to return.

   Maybe it was because it's the holidays, maybe it was the time of day, or maybe it was the day of the week (Thursday) but the food, service, and cocktails were not as I remembered it earlier this year. I'll probably go back early next year to try again and I hope for a satisfying experience. For now, I'll leave my brief comments.
