   Roy’s is continuing to work on their menu. New items that are delicious include the shrimp appetizer and the special of the evening which was a delicious steak with little fingerling potatoes made into potato chips. The Romain salad seemed particularly fresh and wonderful last night. The salmon is a favorite of mine and it also seem to be especially good. So nice to see they are keeping up the good work .

   Nicely prepared entrees. The salad and desserts were exceptional. Excellent service with incredibly friendly staff.

   Staff were friendly, informative, and engaging. Food was good with a great combination of flavors and freshness - we had scallops and fresh caught whitefish. Dessert look no further that the chocolate soufflé perfect ending to the meal.

   Great service. Poor food. The beef "short rib" tasted and had the texture of a hunk of overcooked pot roast (this was no rib). The three firecracker shrimp that came with it were small, overcooked and were doused in some sauce that reminded me of siracha. The Hawaiian white fish (ono) was good but it came on a bed of orzo that was a goopy mess. We have been there in the past and had much better food. We will not go back.

   Excellent meal! I appreciate having our table changed to another location which my husband and I much preferred! The meatloaf is wonderful, the fish cooked to perfection & the lava flourless dessert was perfect! Our waiter was friendly and attentive and put us at ease. We enjoyed our evening!

   High prices, even for Hawaii. We were seated at a table where one side for seating was over worn cushions and very uncomfortable. Despite making reservations we were seated at the bottom of the stairs to the lower level. Not a good dining environment. The salad and dessert were good but both of our entrees lacked anything special. We dined at Roy’s several years ago and thought we’d give it another try but we won’t be returning.

    Our server was wonderful with a great attitude, as was the gentleman that provided water and service to the table. My husband had the pork chop and although salty it was hot and very well cooked, I had the Mac Crusted fish and my dish came out barely warm, the Lamb Shank was tough and our 4th persons dish the Butterfish preparation was underwhelming. The wine list was VERY outdated and we could not get the wine we wanted, after finding out the GM brought us a bottle on him, which I thought was very nice but our guests from out of town are very particular on their wine and was not happy with the outcome.
