   We eat at Ruth’s Chris regularly, but this experience was subpar. We had reservations for 7:30 and were told there was a backup, so it would be a 25-minute wait. We arrived at 7:25 but weren’t seated until 8:10—45 minutes later. Once we were seated, our waitress came promptly to take our drink and appetizer orders. However, after the appetizers arrived, she didn’t return to take our main course orders until 10 minutes later. My daughter and I both ordered the same steak, the New York Strip. While hers tasted normal, mine had a gamey flavor, which was very strange. This was not the Ruth’s Chris experience I’m accustomed to. As I mentioned, we eat there regularly—not just at this location—but this visit was disappointing.

   I was very unimpressed with our dinner on Saturday evening. The menu seems so tired and so old. The choices on sides were very unimaginative. A young couple got engaged next to us and we asked the waitress to buy them a drink on us. Well they put it on our bill and never told the couple so I am sure they did not notice until their bill came. They gave us a free cheesecake piece for our wedding anniversary and it was definitely freezer burnt and not even made in house. It was so gross I came home and ate Stroh's chocolate ice cream. I have not gone to a Ruth Chris Steak house in about 10 years. Nothing on the menu seems updated. I can't say any of the sides or the steak was anything worth mentioning. I will not go back. The staff was nice it was just the food was poor.

   Our server, Nicole, was delightful. Her supporters were also good. NO FAMILY DRAMA at this Thanksgiving Day venue!
