   Dinner was outstanding as was the service. Everything was well prepared and served hot. Dinner was paced nicely; we never felt rushed. The server was attentive and very personable.

   It’s been over 2 years since we’ve been to Ruth’s Chris. I was curious if it would be the same since Outback took over. The steak was the same; seasoned and perfectly cooked that I remember. The same with the chopped salad. The lobster macaroni tasted the same but their isn’t as much lobster chunks that it used to come with it and it came out cold. The server was good but clearly they were understaffed. They placed all the patrons together for the single server. My wife’s food came out wrong and they brought it out again without the sauce she requested. Not a problem, but they never checked on us because of the understaffing and her food got cold as we waited. They removed the charge but my wife went home only eating half our dessert. She had a protein shake for dinner. The staff they had were great. Just not enough for the amount of patrons.

   Stopped in for a quick dinner. The new filet and scallop dish was awesome. A nice change. Server Nicole did a great job. Managers David and Tiffany made sure all was good.

   David is the best manager and Giovanni/team were superb. Professional and friendly and the food was prepared as we like it. One thought, I had asked for a specific table when I booked thru Open Door. Yet when we were taken to our table it was set for two not four-a small detail but a detail nonetheless for what is supposed to be a high end steak house. VR, Greg Howard

    OVERALL: (3). We try to patronize our local restaurants but have avoided the Lake Mary Ruth’s Chris for many years due to many of the same reasons we experienced on this evening. FOOD: (3). My Chopped salad: (5). My ribeye: (3); too much fat and too little taste. Wife’s small fillet: (2); dry, little taste, not tender. Sides of scalloped potatoes and grilled asparagus: (3). Overall: (3). SERVICE: (5). Janene provided outstanding service as did the supporting staff. AMBIANCE: (2). The 70’s style décor is badly in need of a complete update. VALUE: (2). Impossible to justify the ultra-premium price of $325 including tip for the two of us when compared to other restaurant options for a steak dinner.
