Ruth's Chris Steak House was founded in New Orleans, Louisiana by Ruth Fertel, a single mother of two who wanted a better life for herself and her two sons. She purchased "Chris" steakhouse in New Orleans which had been operated for the 38 years prior. She changed the name to Ruth's Chris when a fire forced her to move from the original location. Today, there are over 140 Ruth’s Chris Steak House restaurants across the globe. We look forward to our opening in Marina Del Rey, CA.

    Attended wine pairing dinner. I attend 30-40 wine dinners every year. Steak course overcooked and very very salty. The other courses were good but smaller than expected.

    Our first time there for a wine/champagne dinner. All was informative and food pairing delicious. Would have liked to receive a glass of bubbly to enjoy while we watched the video and heard explanation. It was at least 30 to 45 minutes after the designated start time before we had a glass in hand. That should be modified for a more pleasant experience.

    The Moet Chandon Tastemaker Dinner was the first tastemaker for us and we did not know what to expect. It was such a wonderful dinner and explanation of Moet Chandon history. The food was delicious and the champagne pairing was excellent.

    The food was great as always but the service was very slow and the ambiance has fallen as there were several other guests in tshirts and blue jeans.

    I love dinner here with my 10-year old. She always orders the ribeye steak and I had the lamb chops. Absolutely delicious! The service was superb and the ambience is worth every dime! Order the crab cakes for an appetizer, they never disappoint. I will return over and over again!
