    We celebrated our 45th Wedding Anniversary at Ruth's Crisp in Memphis and enjoyed a wonderful meal. All the staff were very attentive and Tony, the manager, introduced himself at our table to make sure we had everything we needed. We thanked him and told him how much we were enjoying the Ribeye steaks. He explained where they came from and how they prepared them to be so tender and tasty. Our waitress, Emma, came be several times to see if we needed anything and asked how we were enjoying our meal. This is one of the very few restaurants in Memphis that was built so we as customers could carry on a conversation in a quiet atmosphere. The restaurant was nearly full and yet it was quiet enough to easily hear each other. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and will definitely return and recommend our friends to come here, also.

    The food was amazing. The staff was kind , but service was lacking. There seemed to be several managers standing around observing, maybe they should have stepped up to help. I’m guessing they were understaffed. My glass of tea was never refilled during the entire meal. I would have asked, but that would have required actually seeing our server to ask. We left a tip, but we usually over tip and didn’t even come close to what we usually leave. We will probably take our business elsewhere. we have several go to restaurants, but this isn’t one of them.
