   I've always enjoyed Ruth's Chris until my experience tonight. The main course ribeye steaks (medium rare) were tough, even to cut. These steaks must have had no marbling, no flavor either, and the tails weren't even good. The oysters were tiny. The lobster bisque was really good, but the bowl was so shallow, there wasn't much soup. Same for the a la carte potatoes and spinach were also small portions. Add 3 glasses of wine and we were at $288. I was expecting the price ... not the terrible quality. Servers were very nice, but we had to flag them down for water twice, and waited 15+ minutes between courses. In an Outback it would be a C-, but a Ruth's Chris, it's a D - experience. We'll be going back to the Capitol Grill for fine dining steak.

   I was there for a TasteMaker wine dinner, so the private room was lively, but not noisy. The food and service were excellent, as always.

   Took my grandkids for a special dinner and there was something for all ages. Not inexpensive, but service and food were excellent and a special memory was created.

    We are a repeat customer and for the first time very disappointed. We asked for a round table on Main level and only table available was in the outdoor tented terrace. Seats very uncomfortable and loud group seated near us made us hurry through dessert to leave. Water and bread not refilled during meal. Seafood gumbo had no seafood. Sizzling hot steak plates had no hot butter which is a feature of their steak. I think we should have been contacted before arrival to let us know there was a problem as to where to seat us. Because of this experience we will think we will try another restaurant or another Ruth's Chris location in the future.
