   Been to this restaurant multiple times, I was wearing a dressy ascot hat and was told I had to remove it before entering the dinning room 😡 when not only a few minutes later someone walked in with a t-shirt and baseball cap and they were not told to take it off… at another table people were in the restaurant with a dog and it was not a service dog, so this is what I don’t understand caps and t-shirts and little dogs are except but my dressy ascot hat is not???

   We were celebrating my birthday and it was a fantastic night. The food was fantastic and properly seasoned! The service was the best I've had in Sacramento. Attentive to our needs. The ambiance was perfect. We can't wait to visit again!

   My wife and I first experience at Ruth Chris was on August of 2024 to celebrate her birthday where we met out server Kim who made our experience wonderful. We decided to return the day after VDay (2025) for a late celebration and luckily she was our server once again, And even after 6 months had passed she not only remembered us but remembered our entire order. Kim’s energy, personality and customer service is wonderful it’s hard to find people with such positive welcoming qualities. We will definitely continue to make the 1hour 30minute drive not only for the food but for Kim. Thank you Kim for being so kind and making our experiences so amazing.

   Beautiful restaurant inside! Chris was an awesome server! The ambiance was top tier! The prices were too high (not sure if it was increased due to the Valentine’s Day weekend).

   It was Valentine rush, so reservation, so is 9:32 PM. We got to see it around tennish and we did not get our food till eleven thirty left the place around twelve other than that services, great food was good

   Came in on February 14th. I had reservations at 8:30pm the place was PACKED. I knew it was going to be busy, so I made sure to have a snack before coming. We finally got seats at about 09:20pm almost an hour wait. I do understand reservations are a set time but on a super busy day it is not the restaurants fault, plus a lot of people finish eating and still stay at their table to enjoy the night. For an appetizer, I ordered the barbecued shrimp that consisted of shrimp sautéed in white wine, garlic butter & bbq spices. It took about 15 minutes to get here but man was it good! I had to order some extra bread to put the sauce on. The shrimp were so juicy and tasted very fresh. For the main course I got the Cowboy Ribeye with sides of lobster Mac ( what everyone comes for) and au gratin potatoes. The food took almost an hour to get here. I see why it’s called the cowboy ribeye because it’s huge! The ribeye was delicious and cooked to my liking. The lobster Mac was delicious as always. The only thing I didn’t like much was the au gratin potatoes. There was so much oil sitting on top and they were a bit cold. Food was great and service was also great for it being one of the busiest days of the year. Thank you to all the staff for the hard work.

   This is a pretty high-end experience. The food and appetizers are exceptional. We had the mushrooms stuffed with crab meat, steak and lobster, and steak and colossal crab. The steaks and seafood were excellent, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The one thing I would say needs improving is the description of colossal crab. It was an amount of crab that fits on top of an 11 ounce fillet steak, so not very much for being colossal. Cocktails were also very good. Late staff was attentive, but got a little slower as the night went on. Overall, very satisfied and I will go back.

    Our server, Brandon H, and his backup Terrell were awesome. They were very responsive, respectful, and professional. The food was prepared perfectly, so kudos to the chefs.
