Ruth's Chris Steak House was founded in New Orleans, Louisiana by Ruth Fertel, a single mother of two who wanted a better life for herself and her two sons. She purchased "Chris" steakhouse in New Orleans which had been operated for 38 years prior. She changed the name to Ruth's Chris when a fire forced her to move from the original location. Today, there are 142 Ruth’s Chris Steak House restaurants across the globe.

    We absolutely LOVE this location. Every meal has been absolutely perfect and delicious. The staff here is incredibly friendly and informative. You'll never be disappointed at this location.

    Special occasion dining. Went for my mother-in-laws 88 birthday. Steaks were cooked perfectly. And they were delicious. As were the sides. Service was great. My only complaint - high mark-up on wines.

    The hostess was very accommodating since my party grew from 4 to 6. She move is without any attitude and was very very nice. I so appreciate her. She made our girls night enjoyable.

    Celebrated my husband’s birthday with a movie and dinner! Location is perfect and a short walk from parking and movie theater. Had a nice booth in lounge area decorated with birthday confetti and hubby got a complimentary birthday cheesecake! Friendly and informative staff! Food was delicious! Perfectly cooked filet! FYI Don’t touch the plates as they are extremely hot and staff will warn you many times!

    We have been to Ruth Chris over the years probably over 100 times. This night was not good. First they sat us down and we sat for a little bit and then had us move & didn’t know why. My wife’s rib eye was tougher than usual and the service was terrible. I had to ask 3 times to get my water glass filled. We ordered the shoestring fries and they brought out the wrong fries and then the shoestring fries were half the amount we used to get and they were soggy. Just overall not good. Living in a big city and going to a top name steak house you would think it would be a whole lot better than it was. Not sure if we would come back. Oh & the manager never came by any of the tables to ask customers how their dining experience was. Curt Davis -309-427-9337

    Had bbq shrimp app, 11 oz fillet medium rare, brussel sprouts and potatoes a gratin. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing! Set in the bar area and bar servers were all very nice and helpful! I highly recommend this place!
