I’ve been to many Ruth’s Chris before. We used to go every week when we lived out-of-state. This is the closest Ruth’s Chris to us now but the building is in dire need of updating and the service staff leaves a lot to be desired. Not once was a glass filled with water without ice pouring all over the table. Each refilled glass was accompanied by an ice avalanche that I had to pick up and put on a plate. The waitress seemed to hold contempt for our table, perhaps it was because one of our table members was drunk, or perhaps she didn’t want to be there. Regardless, I would’ve liked to enjoy the meal without the condescending tone. The food was great but that’s to be expected from Ruth’s Chris. This location doesn’t seem to get busy so hopefully one day business will get to a point where they can afford to hire more professional staff and afford to update the interior and exterior of this particular location. Until then, it’s only worth coming down to Tampa for once every few months.

As always, the food and service was excellent. The bar menu is great and the food was prepared perfectly. Our server tonight was outstanding.

Have been coming here for years and never had a bad meal. We ordered two filet and lobster tails. Steak was cooked ok and the tails were hard and chewy we told the waiter and he didn’t seem to care. When the bill came I was surprised they hadn’t taken the tails off the bill as we didn’t eat them. I expressed my shock at this and he then took our drinks off. Experience wasn’t what it usually is

Best filet ever always will be! Not much else to say other than that! If you go to meat market, Flemmings, ocean prime, or Charley’s…. NONE will ever compare to the filet of Ruth’s Chris. Monopolized for decades and centuries to come!

Everything was amazing! We sat in the lounge in the half circle booth behind the piano as requested. I wasn’t sure if they would honor it for just two people but when I requested i said it was our anniversary and they were able to seat us there. I walked in and the table was beautifully decorated with rose petals. It couldn’t have been more perfect. The food was delicious and our service was spectacular. One of my most memorable dinners by far. I can’t wait to go back!
