Owners Terry & Jennifer McBurney offer guests a variety of Texan and Southern inspired cuisine complemented by professional and courteous service. Entrees include American Wagyu Chicken-Fried Steak, Texas Quail, Certified Angus Steaks, Blackened Flounder unique Pasta dishes and Salads. End your meal with one of many scratch made Desserts including a gluten free Strawberry Shortcake.

Featured on the TV show GoodTaste, it has received rave reviews in the Houston Chronicle, Zagat, Open Table and PKWY Magazine. This restaurant even provides a relaxing patio where guests can enjoy live music depending on the season.

The Crab cakes and shrimp were delicious. Lots of crab; came out hot and the shrimp were crispy and hot. We also had the wedge salad - probably the best we have had. The cocktails are creative and the wine selection is good. Our server, Madelynn was pleasant and made our outdoor patio dining experience enjoyable. Friendly staff, always consistent.

The food and wines are delicious, and the environment is warm, welcoming, and cozy. Special the service is so perfect. We love our waiter, his name is Jose, he is very kind, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. He listened patiently to our stories and shared his experiences and adventures with us. He made us feel like part of his family and friends, not customers. This is the second time we have gone back to Cru in the Woodland, the main thing is Jose and the wines Thank you so much.
