I come here every Sunday for a matcha and sometimes breakfast and it's such a lovely ritual. I have been here a few times for dinner and it is always always sublime. Last night's delicious feast was no exception- I was so proud to introduce the venue to my colleagues who commented variously through the night how lovely it all was, and one said she'd be back to do a little work and eat :) very happy!

We generally call in to have Lunch st Ulmarra Hotel Cafe foyr times a year during joyrbeys from Armidale to rhe Gold Coast and return. We have always been most impressed. However , came away disappointed after oyr most recent visit. My Wife ordered the Pasta Beef Ragu Special but the mealbwas near inedible. Far too salty ! I had the Half Rack if Spare Ribs but definitely not impressed. The ribs were very dry, not atvall moist. Overall, we felt that standards have droppef unfortunately.

The River Deck Cafe is our regular stop when we drive between Melbourne and Canberra or Melbourne and Sydney. The location is amazing, set in the park overlooking the Murray River, so we can stretch our legs and the dog can run around. The food standard here is very high, much higher than one would expect in a small regional location. They take great pride in using fresh local ingredients and the supplies are proudly listed in the menu. Very happy to continue to have this as our regular stop and I always recommend it to fellow foodies.

Box on the Water remains unbeatable for value-& that view! The pate, fish & chips-& salad- are our ‘go to’ lunch-easily shareable, served with a smile, & enjoyed in front of a world class view. Our only (slight) regrets-it’s not open-at least once or twice a week-for breakfast-and the menu doesn’t offer a tender steak frites option ( the bavatte’s a bit chewy for us). But it still makes us once a week regulars.

Food was good, wine list solid and service friendly. All enjoyed with the backdrop of the gorgeous Mollymook Beach. Enjoyable evening and we will be back.
